Paraphrasing,Summarizing,and Quoting

Hi :) Today's post is about Paraphrasing, Summarizing, and Quoting. Paraphrasing, summarizing, and quoting are effective when we use someone's ideas in academic writing. We must not plagiarize when we use them.

Paraphrasing means that to say the idea in other words which is easy for readers to understand. We can use it to use synonym, to change word form, and to change word order.

Summarizing means that to sum up the main idea briefly to use our own words. We can use it to put in main idea and to include details pertinently.

Quoting means that to introduce someone's idea to support my idea. We can use it when we cite someone's idea  by using quotation marks.
